The leash itself is very heavy duty and easy to hold. The locking mechanism is easy to use and holds our 90+lb dog very well. We will definitely buy from this company again if we ever need another leash.
Very well made!! Would recommend! It is made for a double leash I was hoping one could be removed to make a single leash but that is not the case it has to be used as a double or you can take the second one and tie it up some way to make a single if need be. Would recommend.

This is the Best leash on the market. I have had this leash for over a year now. I bought this for my German Shepherd puppy, and a year later and 85 extra pounds on Mishka, I am still using it. I bought larger leashes in between and all of them failed, so back to this one. I wish they made a larger one, but this size holds a 105 lb. Shepherd fine. I am buying a new one because the retractable cord is worn a bit, but that is expected.GREAT BUY !!!
So far so good! Been replacing leashes but wanted to try something clearly guaranteed. Light weight and very easy to use. Does not wrap around dogs legs for some reason which is great since I alway have 2 dogs with me.
This leash is no exception. My husband tried it first and he said he had a spot of trouble with the locking mechanism but, as soon as he figured out the button lock and release, he felt it was easy to use. The length of the leash is great. It is lightweight to carry and comfortable to hold. Both of my dogs are Chihuahuas and neither seemed to find the leash too heavy for their small frames. I appreciate the reflective tape but haven't tried it in the dark yet.

I have installed two of these in my house. One has been in use for 33 years now, has been easy to clean and still works as new. The other is new. The old one is set to allow One Way Traffic only. When I have gatherings or parties, I can sequester the cats in the back part of the house - where their litter pan resides behind door number two! It helps with control odor and scattered litter. This is good!
This retractable leash is wonderful for walking my dog in the woods! He is a strong Labrador and I feel that the leash is well made and will not break. He can sniff and walk at his own pace. When he feels resistance, he catches right up with me. The locking mechanism works great, if I see some deer droppings I don't want him to get into. I prefer a 6' leash when we go on regular walks. This retractable leash is my new favorite for leisure walks in the woods.

Nice leash and the bowl clips right to my belt loop when I am walking.
