This was a great purchase! I'm very happy with the leash and I use it everyday on my 40lb pit / Amer bulldog mix. She does like to pull a bit, but I have never worried about it breaking. I've had it for about 7 months and it has gotten buttery soft. For $36 it really is not a bad leash. Installed it into windows (glass) and a metallic door. Worked fine.On the metallic door didn't use the template, just cut hole for the door, and drill for the two bolts.Only wish it could be thinner. :-)
Super satisfied with the leash, and i didn't see that it would come with the little water bowl. It got my heart because it's so helpful. I am so happy it feels like my baby dog hot a very nice gift. Thank you guys. Such a good idea.
We ordered two of these doors and installed both of them in less than ten minutes. I agree with the other reviewers who say don't use the large round template for cutting through your screen; just cut a hole exactly the size of the kitty door itself. This kitty door fits great on our slider screen and doesn't interfere with any opening or closing of any other doors. I was worried it might be a little flimsy and pull at the screen as the kitties come in and out, but it's very sturdy. Overall a great product!
Great product. I love the flashlight feature. I have three animals I take out at once, so not having to hold a flashlight makes my life so much easier.
This works great with my very active and VERY strong dog who has managed to break 3 other retractable leashes. If is very easy to hold and always stays locked into position. And, it still works wonderfully after being dragged through a saltwater lagoon when my dog decided to go for a swim!
All I can say is this thing is awesome. I was in the market for an affordable retractable leash and this thing delivered. Nice solid construction. No problem with my 50lb lab pup. Super intuitive controls, doesn't snag like others seem to, and the price is right on.
Great leash! It's holding up very well for my 2 large puppies. We are working on not pulling but they get excited sometimes and forget. The button to lock the leash is large and easy to operate. Very happy with this purchase!
Nice product, great idea to combine these three functions. The only feature I wish were different is the locking mechanism on the retractable leash. Most of these types of leashes have separate buttons for "stopping" the leash versus "locking" the leash. On this one, every time you press the stop, it also locks it. Sometimes I just want to hold my dog in place for a moment and then let it go. Kind of annoying to be forced to "unlock" it everytime I want to allow him more leash.
