The hardware is substantial, so the leash is sturdy. The handle is shaped to the hand, so the leash is easy to use. The leash is long enough to give the dog more room to move.
This leash has withstood my Great Dane for 2 days which is longer than the last leash! I also like that it is not those cords that burn your leg when you are tangled in a mess of retractable leash.
Good quality leash. Love the attached flashlight and bag holder. This leash makes late night walks much easier not having to fumble with all these things separately.

My incredibly large cat (easily 28 lbs and shapped like a Thanksgiving turkey) fits threw with no issues. We installed it on the interior basement door. Took all of 20 min to do. I went to a large pet store and almost bought a $45 cat door, I'm glad I saved myself all the money so I can buy him more food to eat!
A little early to tell for sure but this seems like a definite improvement over our old retractable leash. The locking mechanism seems to be very robust. The design of the leash in total is very clean and attractive. I can easily attach the disposable waste bags to it so I don't have to carry those separately. Our puppy is just 9 weeks old so haven't really had a chance to put it to the test yet but, so far, extremely pleased with our purchase.
This leash is rugged and works very well. The buttons are easy to work to allow our dog to have an extended distance on it and locks in solidly to any length desired. Should last a long time.
