Very nice retractable leash at a great price point. My dog's previous leash was a retractable one with a skinny cord that recently began to fray. I had a key chain flashlight and baggie dispenser clipped to the handle that were convenient but a bit of a big jangling mess. I love the removable flashlight and bag components on this leash and the fact that the handle is wide enough to get my fingers into even with my winter gloves on. The belt style of the leash is very nice too, seems much sturdier than the corded kind. One small issues I have with the belt leash is it gets twisted as my dog walks around and sometimes folds on itself as it retracts but this I guess is the cost of a better quality leash that maintains the retractable function. Still a fantastic leash!
Well designed! Comfortable to hold and very smooth operation. The temporary lock is very easy to lock, which I could see being very helpful to anyone with weak hands or arthritis. The hold lock feature is smooth as well, easy to manipulate. The leash is allowed to extend and retract in a wide array of angles without binding which has been a great feature for our use.
I got the leash to work with my puppy. It's great. She can make short runs without me having to run with her, but I can hold her back easily when needed. It is definitely tangle-free. It's working well with our training.
Very nicely designed except for the magnet that causes the door to slam shut on the cats' tails. I took the bottom magnet out (glued in with superglue so not that easy) and it closes and stays closed fine.
Easy to install and works well. The unit came with an easy to follow guide and clear instructions. The various locking positions are great when the cats need to be kept in or out of a room
Quality leash. Have had it just under a year and have used it close to every day. Typical wear for leather - scuff here and there, but I've put it through the gauntlet and it's held up extremely well. Shows no indication that it won't last 5+ years. Very satisfied with purchase.
All my dogs are under 15 lbs. Nevertheless, it has a good feel to it and the button is easy to depress for pause. Locking/unlocking is smooth. I highly recommed this.
Easy to install. Cat's got it figured out. Feels a bit cheap but has held up half a year so far. The problem I ran into was that the door actually sticks open half an inch because of the way the magnetic fields line up if it doesn't swing down hard. This isn't a huge problem for me because it's in my basement door but if you actually had this going outside it would let in cold air.
