Best leash! Our one year old, 74 lb, Great Dane mix has broken 3 retractable leashes since we're had him. This one stands up to its name! Highly recommend for large breeds. We will be buying another soon for our Boxer mix.
Seems to be pretty good quality and light weight enough for my 5 year old to handle. This is great for our dog since we take him everywhere we go and need to take care of messes while on the go.

Sturdy, well built. Had a bit of a problem getting used to the locking device but once I figured that out I found the device very nice and easy to use.
This is a great retractable leash. It is just long enough for a walk in the village or on a trail. The one touch locking mechanism is a great feature and the reflecting tape is really visible at night. Overall this is a great leash and seems like it is really well made. The only thing that would make it better is if it is made a poop bag holder that would attatch to the plastic handle!!!!
The only reason I rated this 4 instead of 5 stars is because my 12lb dog broke my first one after only two weeks, by pulling on it. (She's a puller, but again - 12 pounds!!) It was replaced immediately with no issues, because I had fallen in love with it! I have one dog (the 12 pounder), who's a hyperactive puller, and my other dog is a 30-pound, older, meandering type of dog. This leash allows me to control with one hand, eliminates issues with crossing leashes. My little one is quite bright, so it was easy to teach her "come around" if she gets on the wrong side of me. The only thing it doesn't prevent is them going one on either side of a lamp post! OK, so issues: The buttons are a little stiff, and the 360 "spinner" piece could spin a little more freely than it does - but by no means are these major issues. I wish it were approved for use with bigger dogs (over 35 lbs). My dogs fall under the weight limit, but I'm slightly nervous since the first one broke. (Note: The leash itself didn't break, the end of it came lose from the spool.)
We had this leash for over a year and it has worked well for two inquisitive pugs who used to tangle everything. The leash is not perfect but anyone can complain about anything. Overall, it has worked well, the minor problems are: The rotating part of the leash does not always rotate by itself and you have to help it with a free hand, no big deal, the rubber handle cover disintegrate, when ours did, I simply removed it and took some tennis racket wrap to replace it and it worked well. I'll buy another one because walking three pugs is not always a picnic.
Definitely heavy duty.....
Gave as a gift and they said it works perfectly for their 2 small dogs. Does not tangle at all.
