I have a growing Siberian husky puppy, this is strong. She got loose when it slipped from my hand, dragging the handle and it didn't break! A few scratches but still works perfectly. It is a bit big for my grip but she loves it. Allows her to run a little while walking her.
Very smooth leash. Easy to use lock button. I have a very strong pit bull terrier that is extremely excited to go for walks. This leash was an amazing difference compared to my old leash. No tugging or jerking at all! Much more comfortable for me and my dog. Definitely recommended!
Excellent leash! The spring was a little tight at the start but loosened up nicely after use. Unlike other flat line leads this one does bind up in the reel, very appreciated. The one thing I would change would be to put a stop on the nylon webbing about a foot up from the hook. This way there is not constant tension on it when healing. I fixed the problem by tying a knot in the line.
I gave this leash to my daughter for Christmas for her 2 dogs - a French bulldog and a Frenchie/boston terrier mix. One is about 20 pounds and the other 10.So far, it works perfectly. We were able to walk the dogs without doing the usual dance trying to unwind ourselves from the criss crossing leashes. The individual locks worked well and they retract and release as expected.Hoping she doesn't have the issues some of the others are having (per the low rated reviews) with further use. I will update later if she does.
I like the design of this leash and the feel of it in my hand. It works smoothly and the ribbon is well made. It works well on controlling my 50lbs. mutt.
I've purchased 3 different brands of leashes & this is by far the best one. Heavy duty, plenty of room for your hand to grip and retracts & locks with no issues. My dog is 98 lbs and strong & it's holding up well.
Received the new leash and it was in perfect condition. First noted it was beefier and has more weight than the competition. The handle is comfortable and quite ergonomic. And the collar hook is heavy duty and ready for your dog.The leash chord has good action in and out of the barrel.
Great leash to let the dog roam, do his business and enjoy the neighborhood smells. Handle is comfortable, locking mechanism is easy to figure out and love that it is reflective. Definitely recommend it if you are looking for a quality retractable leash.
