This leash is incredibly handy, I've read other reviews stating the retracting action stopped, i ran into the same issue, however it was hust the leash getting tangled upon retracting. The only unfortunate thing is that the flashlight broke because my dog got ahold of it and chewed it up....but overall a great product
My dogs new go to first leash. This is our first expandable leash and we love it. No tangles no hassle and extends up to 16 ft. Easy to use button for locking and lightweight. I am extremely satisfied with this purchase and it fits nicely in my dogs bagpack.
I was a bit hesitant from a couple of the negative reviews, but I went ahead anyway since the features were excellent and the price was affordable. I have only owned the unit for a couple of days, but it has gone through a torture test and still keeps on ticking! My GoldenDoodle puppy inadvertently subjected the unit to a couple of five-foot drop tests with no apparent damage. The retractible leash works very well with stops whenever I want, even with constant nipping on it from the puppy. I have gone out night walking with the puppy, and the illumination from the LED light was more than adequate. I haven't had to use the waste bag feature yet, as she is being trained in a special area. All in all, I am very pleased with this product!
I have the standard retractable leash, I also use a soft head leader on my 100# Dane mastiff pitt mix that does not pull and is trained a tight heel so we don't really use it for everyday walks or store visits, I do use it at people gatherings that we attend, like picnics and kids sporting events. It works great, my dog gets to visit all his human friends and can play with his furry pals as well. I don't believe in off leash, unless we are at the dog park so this gives him the opportunity to explore is a supervised manner! I would also like to add that the handle is roomy, I have big hands for a girl and the controls are super easy to operate.
My dog is 10 pounds and has lots of energy causing it to fall outta my hands more then once. After 8 months of love it finally croaked. Just got our second one. <3
This is a great quality leash. It's good for training and is very nice, thick leather.

worth paying a little more for high quality retractable leash. feels stronger and glides/retracts very smoothly.
