Installation was easy using the provided template and it works great so far. We installed on an interior door. This is the perfect solution for keeping the dog out of the cats food and litter. Our cat needed a little coaxing to use it since he'd never seen one before but after a few tries he's going in and out like a pro.
I've only had the retractable leash one day and I love it. The brake control is great and the leash releases very smoothly. My dog is very energetic and his broken 2 leashes this year. I have high hopes for this product.
Best retractable leash ever, does hold at perfect tension not too tight so dog is free to move. They also have a warranty, meaning they are behind their product.
I mainly got this leash for my 25lb fox terrier but also use it for my 10lb doxxie mix.The leash itself reels in and out very smooth. Never have issues with tangles or twists.The terrier has run full sprint to the end of the line and the leash held fine. Also comfortable to hold and feels well constructed.I cant speak for larger breeds but it has worked perfectly for my medium and small dogs
