I purchased this leash for our new Doberman puppy so I really haven't given it a true test to it's strength yet, but I can say it looks and feels really well made and soft in my hands. I also have a Great Pyrenees and was contemplating exchanging his large leather leash out for this one because I have always kind of worried that his leash would snap if the dog got too crazy with pulling. This new leash just seems wells made and sturdy. I will update this as my puppy grows and makes it through training classes.
So far I'm impressed with the quality of the lease and it's functionality. Only about a dozen walks in but I'm hopeful this will be one of those great vales. The price was a good 35-40% less than the price for similar models at the major pet stores.
I already am using puppy bags so the bag holder is really handy. Had a problem with the flashlight since I am by means a "handyman". Finally got it apart andI really like the bag holder and the flashlight both. I am already using the bags and the light is nice since I do have to take him out after dark sometimes. I had trouble finding out about batteries for the light and got online in the question answers and found what I needed to know. After getting it apart, I got the three AAA batteries in and it works fine. This problem is why I gave it a three star instead of a five.
