Its' design is small and lightweight even for large dogs. I found the hand hold to be ergonomic. The best feature is the lock. It's designed to stay in place. In order to release the lock you need to first depress the button and then slide forward. Other retractable leashes I've owned easily slid back and forth and came unlocked easily. The reflective lead is a nice touch.
Excellent product. Best leash we have tried for our French Bulldog. I would definitely recommend this. It's stylish and functional, has not got caught up once.
I have two cats and one cat does not like using our existing interior cat door. Because of this I bought this larger cat door and both cats have no problems with this one. It was easy to install but the screws that came with this cat door was too short. This door was also installed in an interior door.
OBSESSED with this! My two dogs always switch sides on walks and I'm constantly trying to untangle them. This leash is a life saver! There is a built in device that allows them to switch back and forth all day long without tangling. I also love the leash length. I have one older dog that likes to walk slow and a young dog that likes to roam. This allows them to each keep their own pace, with me somewhere in the middle. It also has locks, so I can lock it into place when we get to corners or near other dogs, so they don't run into the street or assault innocent bystanders. I'd give 10 stars if I could.
This was the 2nd cat door I have purchased. The first was "Ideal Pet Products 6.25-by-6.25-Inch Lockable Cat Flap with Telescoping Frame" and I wish I had purchased that one again. This unit isn't bad and works as expected. The install is easy enough it just lacks a template that was actual size. The one mine came with was slightly smaller and I had to drawl/cut out my own for the best fit.I would recommend making your own template and taking the door off for cutting/installing. Also note the regular metal blade for the jigsaw isn't long enough to go through both sides of a normal exterior door.
