I really like the ribbon, instead of the cord style, it's much stronger. I give it a 3 star, only, cause I seem to lock it and can't unlock it without struggling and needing two hands, other than that it's a really nice retractable leash :-)
I love this leash! It has changed our daily walking experience from incredibly frustrating to really wonderful! The spinning mechanism works really well about 95% of the time... and when it doesn't, I just have to reach over and turn the spinner a bit and the lines unwind so easily. I wanted something that allows both of my dogs to go their own direction instead of pulling each other around, which this leash allows. I'm not sure if it would work as well with big dogs or not.
Absolutely love this! We have a German Shepherd Dog that pulls extremely hard and made using nylon leashes very painful because of the rubbing on your hands. With this leash we don't have to worry about it hurting our hands. Because it is leather it has a little give when it gets pulled which makes it easier when a dog pulls. It does "shed" a little at first and you get little tiny brown specks of leather on your hands but that goes away quickly and they don't stain or bother us in any way. It's very easy on the hands and I would definitely buy this product again and recommend to anyone who needed a good leash.
Nice and lightweight compared to the other leashes I have bought. Even though it is lightweight, it also doesn't feel like the leash part is going to rip out and fall apart.
This, so far has been the best leash for our dogs and us. The handle shape makes it easier on our hands. the nylon is smooth going out and coming back in,. Great price! Great Product. We will definitely buy more.If the designers could find a way to incorporate a Good LED flashlight into this product, it would take it over the top!
I was not sure if i would like this leash. I bought it because it has a guarantee though, as my dog has broken 2 others before. It is very well made, seems like he will not be able to break it anyway, but if he does...
