For my 13+ lb cats this door was just large enough for them to comfortable go through.Down side was that it took awhile for my one cat to use not his paw first (which got caught of course) From the other cat he caught on and Started going head first. Now it's not a problem for both of them. I had to stay home at first till my second cat caught on.
This leash is awesome! The removable flash light and doggie bag dispenser are an added bonus. Retracts smoothly and feels sturdy. Definitely recommend.
I was concerned this leash might be heavier than what I could handle especially because of the light. However, to my surprise, this leash was no heavier than any other extended leash I have owned. Everything performed great right out of the box. All I had to do was insert batteries and the light was functional. Because I live in a rural area a flashlight is crucial anytime you venture outside. With the built in (very bright) flashlight, it alleviates me from carrying a flashlight in one hand and the leash in the other. I'm so pleased with this product and encourage anyone that requires the flashlight to consider this.
It is light weight (favorite feature for my wife), hangs in the hand nicely, push down lock button is super easy to use, once you get used to it, is easier than other leashes we have had. We have had some retractable leashes where it almost felt like you had to use two hands to use it. This is like the iPhone of leashes. It is easy to use with one hand, and looks and feels natural in your hand. Worth the extra money. Some people have talked about the noise it makes when the leash goes in and out. Frankly it is just light whiring sound, doesn't bother me.
i love it. it smell so nice. remind me of horseback riding. saddle reins . we play horsie and if he stubborn dont budge i pretend li ke he is horse and swing the reins on his neck li ttle soft smacks g iddie appp lol he like me to do that its like a game for him. lol.
Its changed my life!!! I've always had 2 dogs and had to negotiate the tangling between the leashes as they zig zagged down the sidewalk. This product is really great, but doesn't always untangle as it should. On of my does is 15lbs, and one is 10lbs...so maybe the smaller one isn't heavy enough at times for the handle to pivot. Otherwise, really like it.
Perfect cat door with one minor modification needed. After training the cats to use it into and out of the basement door, they love it. It's now a fun game.Only modification needed was to the clips that lock the door from one or both sides. When the cats get crazy and sprint through it full speed, they somehow catch the locks while jumping through... locking them into or out of the basement.Solution: force a piece of tooth pick in between the locks to keep them pushed apart in unlocked position.
Works perfectly. Dogs never get tangled and holding 1 leash is so much easier. Also the leads aren't as long as a single retractable leash is, so it's easier to manage.
